A Note from Ambrose Orchards

Thank you for giving Arthur Morris a place to belong. He has been loved here, and now he gets to be loved there too. That is the very best kind of journey. We are so glad he has agreed to work here with us!

Arthur Morris

Who he is
Arthur Morris—“Mr. Arthur” to most—runs the Orchard Gazette from a little press room in the old potting shed. Ink on his fingers, pencil behind his ear, spectacles forever sliding down his nose. He’s the Orchard’s reporter, editor, typesetter, and delivery crew all in one.

How he started the Gazette

He once found a handful of crumpled notes near the garden gate—names, dates, tiny hopes. “These are stories,” he said, “and stories deserve a paper.” He rescued a hand-crank press (he calls her Grammy) and printed the first issue that night.
Inside every Gazette is a tear-out slip called the Apple Post™—a tiny, first-chapter note tucked into each adoption.

Arthur Morris’ Favorite Orchard Magic & Quirks

Jax, Guardian of the Orchard™, rides his shoulder during evening deliveries.
He can guess a doll’s favorite bedtime story by how they hold their blanket.
Hums: “As Grammy usta sing, we’ll be coming ’round the mountain…” and edits it to, “…coming ’round the garden with the news.”
